That's my worry.

Perhaps a couple of intelligent posts in the right place on the WW2 reenacting forums might go some way to separating CiA form this cluster fup.

Haven't used that forum for ages so I'm not sure what the current feeling is towards airsoft from reeenactors.

No mention of it so far - hope it was treated just like the stalls selling springers... irrelevant to reenacting so ignored

Yes, Guy moved his date from September to October on top of Josh's date - the irony is that Gunman's own players are booking in to A2C-2

Is Spiers talking out of his arse again? viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4885

And this tickled me "...It's a shame as well because my Indiana Jones loadout is nearly complete...all I need is a whip and a fedora." re Josh's Indianna Jones game.
Err, right, so you've just got a leather jacket then...

God, I know.

I started to reply, but then just thought I'd sit back and watch it with amusement.

I've got three in-production scripts on my desk. I wonder how they'd compare to his? :D

Would you rather be:

A: You, without a Kubel?

B: Dave Barratt, with a Kubel?

Heh, Barratt's 'Kubel' is a VW Trekker/Thing - pppfffff!

BTW, confirms suspicions about Anne, I think she means it - viewtopic.php?f=16&t=4864

Received from Rhys:

David
begining to get fairly pissed off with spiers running around the US section like he owns the place/knows everything/ and is the most amazing player ever. I realise theres nothing that can really be done about it but wanted to let you know as webby is fairly fed up with him too and sooner or later hes bound to catch a mouthful from me or someone for his general attitude.
anyway just wanted to let you know.
cheers
Rhys

You will have gathered by our terse and tetchy replies to his posts that the CiA team feels the same. He doesn't seem to be taking the hint though...
Grin and bear it for the moment - it takes all sorts. (Things will change after Husky... )
This will make you laugh though - he is blabbing about tootling about in Oddball's tank. What he doesn't know is the plan is to let the Axis use it as a Panzer tank...

We will have to bite the bullet after Husky and sort him out...

My suggestion - let Jay have a crack at him during the social - when you're drunk it's easier to be "honest" and if he's pissed you can make a point without being tooooo personal .

Yes, we had to make some adjustments a couple of days ago - no great shakes but I was very surprised at A2C-1 when Manning sort of remembered that Webby was talking about a WW2 some time in September

Anyhoo, Rhys and Webby are going to the site this weekend to sort out what's what, it being a Doughboys event and all..

Has Taffpara ever attended a WW2 Airsoft game. CiA or otherwise??

All he seems to do is sell stuff!

No never - he is a self-confessed collector. Don't think he is a reenactor either. And the sort of selling he does doesn't seem to be at great profit and is also a weird mish-mash of stuff.

Best ask Taffyjohn's farmer mate if we can borrow a digger for a few hours....

A Welsh version of the "holes in the desert" speech from Casino?

Heh, Spiers was asking about tactics using the tank - my suggestion to Spiers would be follow behind the tank closely (while making sure Oddball can only engage reverse gear)

Sadly, the ground pressure of a tracked Argocat is too low to kill him :(
